ALJUNIED's CURRICULUM
At Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah, in alignment with our its vision and mission, students are offered three programmes; two of which are intertwined with the Islamic Studies programme (i.e. Azhar 2.0). Hence, each student undergoes a dual-curriculum programme in the madrasah.
Azhar 2.0

General Certificate of Education ‘Ordinary’ Level (Cambridge) (GCE ‘O’ Level)
IBDP

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)
Azhar 2.0 - Pre-IBDP
This programme is offered to Secondary 2 students who have met the criteria for promotion to Secondary 3 Azhar 2.0-Pre-IBDP programme. Students may wish to accept the offer or decline and pursue the Azhar 2.0-GCE ‘O’ Level programme at Secondary 3.
Students in the Azhar 2.0 - Pre-IBDP will not be required to sit for the GCE ‘O’ Level examination as it is an integrated programme that prepares them for the Azhar 2.0-IBDP programme at the pre-university level.

The language medium for the Azhar 2.0 programme is the Arabic Language while that for the GCE ‘O’ Level and IBDP programmes is the English Language.
